Titleist 910 D3 Driver
The Titleist 910 D3 Driver delivers longer distance through a technologically advanced head design with a responsive, fast face insert that creates a ball-speed area that is 10% larger than other drivers. The patented, innovative, SureFit Tour dual-angle hosel provides precise and independent loft and lie adjustments to fine tune ball flight for more accuracy and control. High performance weighting and a sloped, ultra-thin crown design and an on-axis rear weight screw increases stability and creates a low and deep center of gravity for medium/high launch with medium/low spin. This driver has a lower launch and spin that the Titleist D2. The sure fit technology is easy to use and easy to understand. The looks of the club are the best ever for Titleist.I am very pleased with this driver. Don't let this one pass you by
Don't know that I am hitting it farther, which I think is difficult to judge. I can surely say that I am hitting it more consistently than my 905R. The big improvement for me is on the mishits. If you can afford the price, I would definitely recommend this club
Titleist did a great job waiting until they could do the loft/angle adjustablitiy separately. After a foray into the wierd, like the recent triangular driver, they now have a real winner.
The head itself is traditional and I prefer smaller heads on my drivers (just a comfort thing for me I guess). I have tweaked the head a bit to help minimize spin and reduce the loft which has helped to maximize distance and accuracy. As mentioned above, distance has improved slightly over the R9 (G15 was very long) but my accuracy has improved greatly. If you get anything out of reading this, please just get fitted and understand the importance of the shaft.
Well worth the money (and i almost NEVER say that). I like it so much i went out the 3rd day and bought the 3 wood.. I feel like im in a perfect place now for the next several years.. Just beautiful Titleist, well done !
I may have added some distance but i dont care, i can find the fairway MUCH easier and often now, my confidence grows each time out
